Saramics Studio is my little creative haven, a space where I can make a mess, throw ideas about – throw clay about, fiddle with fibre and generally have a fine old time.
It has taken me a while to get here, but here I finally am! In my own studio!
Since the completion of my Fine Art degree, I have worked as a stage manager, coordinated a mountain festival, managed an arts venue, programmed and curated exhibitions, won a fight with breast cancer, run a successful business selling looms and spinning wheels and now in 2025 I am finally starting to live my creative best life!
My name is Sara and I make pots, thrown tableware and hand built sculptural pieces; I love to felt both 2D and 3D; and I am currently in the process of trying to tie the two together.
